As part of the global trend towards climate change, the Embassy of the European Union and representatives of Egyptian ministries celebrated the European-Egyptian Energy Day.
launching a marathon to ride grades from the Aquarium Grotto Garden, Zamalek. Marathon aims to raise awareness of the importance of rationalizing energy consumption and identifying renewable energy sources.
The day saw gatherings of young Egyptian and European eager to participate in the marathon. The marathon was organized by trainers from the specialized "GO BIKE" Foundation in this field.
As part of the day, there were also numerous events and activities at the Children's and Adults Aquarium Grotto Garden. Which informed the public of the current status of climate change, and the importance of youth and future generations in maintaining a balanced environment and conserving energy.
In order to raise awareness about climate change and renewable energy, A number of leaders and officials spoke to the youth about climate change and renewable energy.
During the conference, the European Ambassador Christian Burger wished the success of the climate change conference in Sharm el-Sheikh in November 2022 and acknowledged Egypt's next consecutive Egyptian _ European Energy Day.
The audience participating in today's events was allowed to try out an electric car, as well as try out the grades of the soon-to-go "Cairo Bike" project.
A number of modern scientific games were also enjoyed by the children, as were drawing and colouring activities with examples of renewable energy such as solar and wind power.
The ceremony concluded with a series of singing paragraphs by several groups, the most famous of which was the "",وسط البلد with which the public interacted greatly.
