Abdel Rahman Sameh, Youngest Egyptian Chess Champion
Abdel Rahman Sameh a 10-year-old chess player has officially become the Republic Open Chess Champion, with 10 and a half points out of 11 rounds, and deservedly occupies first place. Which makes him the youngest national Chess Champion in the history of Egypt
It is worth noting that Abdel Rahman Sameh received a rating of 2105 from the International Chess Federation in the July list. Abdel Rahman played his first tournament in January 2024 and won the African Youth Championship in June. He is scheduled to compete with an Egyptian team in a FIDE World Rapid & Blitz team tournament in Kazakhstan.
