Sudden Disappearance of Burkini’s Rejections on Beaches This Summer
A brilliant idea of Hadia Ghaleb changing a whole mindset
They say the biggest enemy for a woman is a woman like her. 10 years ago, this sentence would have been doubted by many people for many reasons, but last years were an evident proof for that. Throughout last years, veiled women witnessed the weirdest biasing wave on beaches for wearing wide Burkinis and swimming suits. The wave was mostly headed by women; all the shared videos were between women fighting on how inappropriate to wear Burkinis on beaches, not to mention the hotels and their bullying- full systems against them.
However, a calm wave of peace and acceptance has been hitting beaches since the beginning of this summer. Can you guess why? It’s simply because the word “Burkini” is now connected to Hadia Ghalib name.
Hadia Ghalib, the successful promising entrepreneur, has launched the smartest line the fashion has witnessed since a lot. She launched a swimwear line suiting both veiled and unveiled women. Her concept is based on filling the gap between religions, cultures, and lifestyles; and fortunately, she did!
Observing the results of her new line, the Egyptian A+ world has stayed silent for too long this summer. They not only accept Burkinis, but they literally loved them and a huge category of unveiled women started to wear it with sleeves too. This made the general systems of resorts accept the idea of Burkinis and see how trendy and classy they are.
The question here is, does it require too much efforts from a country to just accept and respect others’ thoughts and beliefs in an appropriate way? Is it necessary to lunch a fancy high-priced pieces of clothes just to get the idea of everyone’s freedom? The answer is yes! People will not have seen how nice and respectful a woman can be in a Burkini unless Hadia’s brilliant idea is on air like now. This sudden disappearance of those silly rejections really made us breathe, but we will never forget the leftovers of the last summers’ wave, and so you guys should do too!
