Congratulations to Fatma Mahrous on winning the silver medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics!
Fatma, a true champion, made us all proud by securing the silver medal in the 57 kg weightlifting category. She dedicated this incredible achievement to the memory of her late mother, who was always her greatest supporter. Her strength, determination, and resilience shone through as she lifted 130 kg in her first attempt, 134 kg in the second, and an impressive 139 kg in the third!
Fatma's journey to success inspires us all, and we are incredibly proud to see her representing Egypt on the global stage. This is her second Paralympic appearance, having finished 4th in Tokyo 2021, and now, she has claimed her rightful place on the podium.
