There are more than 460 people in the world suffering from diabetes, and it is a chronic disease that remains with the person throughout his life. Despite the great scientific development that we have become, there is no cure for it, but it is a beautiful thing to see young people trying to contribute to the treatment of this disease, such as Our beautiful doctor Hadeel Adam.

Dr. Hadeel Adam is an Egyptian doctor and researcher in the field of diabetes who graduated from STEM School, after that she began studying medicine and  she was able to find a cure for diabetes patients and help them survive serious complications.

She has been suffering from diabetes for 12 years, and when she joined stem school, she learned the basics of scientific research as it should be. She found an opportunity to make something that would benefit her and others, so Hadeel started working on her project that is called (no more diabetes) and continued to develop it until she joined college, a project that simulates the industrial pancreas, and it is a watch that monitors the sugar level and is connected to a pump.

Once Hadeel joined the school and started working on her project and tried to consult others about her idea, she faced a very big setback, but her belief in herself and the constant support of her family pushed her to continue what she started because she believed that helping people with diabetes is her message in the life and indeed Hadeer managed to attract attention for her project and its importance, she was chosen to represent Egypt in the scientific research competition and received many honors such as:

1- Honoring from Eng. Nawko Fukami, President of the Japanese Society for Egyptian Sciences.

2- Honoring from the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.

3- Honoring from Dr. Faraj Moussa, the former president of IFIA.

4- Honoring from King Abdulaziz University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Also, during her educational career, she participated in many competitions and won many awards such as:

1- She won the largest research competition in the world, in which 174 countries are competing.

2- Won a bronze medal at the Geneva International Fair.

Hadeel impressed many and was chosen to be a speaker on the TEDx platform, and she said in her dialogue that it is important to overcome the things that push us away from our dream and that nothing is impossible even if your dream is far or difficult (just be strong you will get over it soon).
