Star Ahmed Dawood is waiting for his new film El Hawa Sultan to be released soon in theaters. Commenting of his new film, Dawood said, “What attracted me the. most to the El Hawa Sultan is the genre and plot of the film, which we don’t often see in many films. Ali and Sarah have a real relationship that many of us have seen or lived before.”
El Hawa Sultan stars Menna Shalaby, Ahmed Dawood, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Sawsan Badr, and Gihan El Shamashergy. The film is written and directed by Heba Yousry and produced by Sea Cinema Productions (Ahmed Fahmy and Hany Naguib). In the romance film about love and relationships between friends, Ahmed Dawood plays the role of Ali.
This marks Dawood’s second film with Menna Shalaby since their collaboration in Al Maa wa Al Khodra wa Al Wajh El Hassan (Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces). This comes following the success of Dawood’s film Youm 13, which topped the box office earning nearly EGP 35 million.
Dawood’s latest series, Zeinhom, topped the watching list on Watch It platform since its broadcasting. The series is directed by Yahya Ismail, written by Mohamed Soliman Abdul Malek, and produced by producer Tamer Mortda’s Aroma Studios. Alongside Ahmed Dawood, the series stars Karim Kassem, and Salma Aby Deif.
