Sally El-Ghamrawy is one of the most successful, hardworking, and passionate people. She has the ability to realize her own incredible potential and is someone who keeps on pushing herself harder, so she becomes one of the most important examples of fantastic role models.

She received B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Systems in 2003 and received an M.SC degree in Automatic Control Systems Engineering in 2006 from the computers engineering department at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University. In addition, she received a Ph.D. degree in 2012 in Distributed Decision Support Systems Based on Multi Intelligent Agents.

Sally is now the Head of Communications & Computer Engineering Department at MISR higher Institute for Engineering & Technology and part-time Associate Professor at Electrical & Computers Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, British University in Egypt BUE and at computers engineering department at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University in Egypt.

Moreover, she received the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils Prize 2019 in the field of Artificial Intelligence. She is also a Senior IEEE Member. In addition, Dr. Sally had received the Award for Scientific Excellence for Research 2018 from MISR Higher Institute for Engineering & Technology. She had been promoted to Associate Professor with scientific excellence with a 98% grade. 

She is a certified reviewer at the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in addition to being a reviewer for different Highly ranked International Journals such as Expert Systems with Applications(Elsevier), Information Sciences(Elsevier), IEEE access, the Journal of Supercomputing (Springer), Grid Computing(Elsevier), and Evolutionary Intelligence (Springer).

Furthermore, she is an Editor for a number of International books published by Springer International Publishing. She is also an Editorial Review Board for different international journals: International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence Published by IGI Global. She had authored many journal articles in reputed and prestigious peer-reviewed journals including Future Generation Computer Systems (Elsevier), IEEE Access, and Grid Computing (Springer), receiving best paper awards.

She is a member of the Scientific Research Group in Egypt. She is delivering lectures, supervising graduation projects, master's thesis, and doctoral dissertations. She was delivering lectures and gave practical training in the grants from the Ministry of Communications and information technology in collaboration with IBM. She received a certificate A+ International Inc. CompTIA.

Her research focuses on Big Data analysis, No-SQL databases, Artificial Intelligence techniques, and software engineering. She is the author of a number of peer-reviewed publications, receiving best paper awards.
