Tiktok Remains Operating Abiding By Egyptian Values

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has announced that it has implemented new features in the application in Egypt aiming at promoting family values and abiding by the country's cultural and moral standards. According to the NTRA, these measures are intended to enhance the safety and appropriateness of content for users, particularly younger audiences.
The new features include more strict content moderation, improved parental controls, and tools that allow parents to monitor and manage their children's use of the app. Besides, TikTok has introduced content filters designed to ensure that the platform's offerings are in line with Egyptian cultural norms.
In response to recent rumors, the NTRA has denied any claims of a potential blockade of TikTok in Egypt. Tiktok will continue to operate but within the boundaries of Egyptian laws and values. "These new features were introduced to reinforce family values and are fully in accordance with our cultural and moral standards," an NTRA spokesperson stated.
It is very important that a country fights for its deeply immersed morals, trying hardly to avoid attempts of breaking these preserving limits that keeps people committed to upholding a balance between creative expression and respect for local traditions.
