Yasmin Raeis Prays for Gaza in a Monologue in A’al Masrah Show

Star Yasmin Raeis was featured on Mona Abdel Wahab’s show A’al Masrah (On the Stage). During the show, Yasmin spoke about her Palestinian origins saying, “I have never hidden my Palestinian origins. Maybe posting a photo of the Palestinian Authority’s passport with the events is what made people pay attention to this. But it is no longer my right because my family is 48-Arabs, they are deprived of the right to return, and their file is the largest file in the United Nations.”

Yasmin continues, “I tried to enter Palestine more than once with my Egyptian passport, but my permit was rejected three times. Additionally, it was rejected to shoot a film with director Najwa Najjar.”

At the end of the episode, Yasmin made a short theatrical monologue and said, “I hope that we do not forget to pray for the people of Gaza within the Iftar.” She also wished to the world for love, peace, and happiness.

On the other hand, Yasmin Raeis is waiting for the second part of the Ramadan season for her new series One Thousand and One Nights: Gawdar on Watch It platform and ON channel. In the new series, she plays the role of Scheherazade. Written by Anwar Abdel Moghith, One Thousand and One Nights: Gawdar is directed by Islam Khairy. The series stars Yasser Galal, Yasmin Raeis, Nour, Walid Fawwaz, and Ahmed Fathy, and produced by United Media Services, Tamer Mortda’s Aroma Studios, and MediaHub.

Most recently, Yasmin Raeis won the Best Actress Award for her role (Laila) in Ana La Habibi film at the 72nd edition of the Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival. Yasmin is also about to wrap up filming her new film Al Fostan Al Abyad (The white Dress) which is scheduled to be released in the second half of the year.
