This is what was achieved by"EPSF O6U"
Events are of great importance, especially if they are related to study, because they help students to memorize towards the field of work and they can set their practical goals after their graduation.
That is why "PHocus " is considered a major event. This event started on Monday, 5/9 and ended on Wednesday, 5/11.
Among the most important objectives of the " PHocus" event are:
⇐It works to reduce the gap between the students of the College of Pharmacy and the field of clinical pharmacy, and this is done through many educational lectures and workshops.
It includes a specific topic related to clinical pharmacy that is focused on.
This year it was related to lung cancer and breast cancer.
The training program for students includes three lectures, the topics of which are as follows:
⓵ Oncology Pharmacist Journey.

Lung cancer and breast cancer.

Scientific research and clinical trials.

There are also three educational workshops that include:
1- Accurate data collection.

2- How to submit a case.

3- Analytics

⇐ We note that the event does not include only the lectures and competition part, but there is another awareness aspect related to educating pharmacy students and the public about drug safety. (Medication Safety)
Where awareness is raised about the importance of printed prescriptions and the importance of ensuring that there are no drug interactions between different medications.
In the end, there will be a competition at the college level to solve a case, and the qualified person will receive training from the College of Pharmacy, and he will be escalated to the national competition at the level of colleges of pharmacy in the Republic.
