If you ever think that your struggle is worthless, let me tell a story about our exquisite Khaled Youssef

If you ever think that your struggle is worthless, let me tell a story about our exquisite Khaled Youssef. Khaled Youssef is 35 years old, graduated from Faculty of Information Technology, October University.

Khaled decided to indulge into his career all alone. Hence, Khaled started working since he was 16 years old. Of course, you would think that he is too young. Let me tell you more, Khaled started facing some problems such as shifting from Language school into Governmental one, family issues, and financial problems.

When he was 16, Khaled started his own business by opening a small PlayStation Store. Step by step, he shifted to Mobile Phones industry. Then he had his own clothes Store all the way to become the founder of his Advertising Company (2016), but it did not work, so again he is unstoppable.

At that time, Khaled became an Assistant of a well-known public figure, so he decided to grow bigger and begin learning Marketing. From there, Khaled took courses to become a trainer in voluntary events and many other events. This was Khaled’s transitional phase, as he knew what he is worth of and that he belongs to the Digital Marketing field.

Khaled told us about his personal skills in Digital Marketing, such as being persuasive and also being a good teacher. Going through the usual ups and downs in a new career, Khaled maintained to be perfectly professional with regard to the Digital Marketing Career. Khaled owned his brand “Azam Group Company” and other brands till he became one of the most successful figures that were presented at the Pioneer Conference.

This was just the beginning, Khaled also pursued a career in the Teaching field. Khaled taught thousands of students on online and offline platforms. It is also worth to mention that Khaled sometimes did it for free just to help people grow. This brought us to share some of Khaled acquired skills such as being sociable, learning designing and programming. Such skills have led Khaled to teach roughly 8,892 students on Udemy platform.

What we really want to highlight is the difficulties faced by Khaled. First, Khaled struggled the small amount of sources to study from. Khaled also said that they were too expensive for him at that time. Second, Khaled faced a lot of criticism from ordinary people saying some clichés such as, you will never make it, do something better and this is really a waste of your time. Again, Khaled does not care about these words urging us to stick to whatever we want without paying any attention to other’s opinions and to let our success speaks for us.

Lastly but not least, Khaled shared some situations that influenced him, so we won’t be long. One day, Khaled’s role model and his Manager made fun of him knowing that he wants to start his own business and leave him. Another day, Khaled cannot afford the fees of any transportation method that he had to walk from “Faisal” Area to “Al-Dokki” just to learn, can you imagine this?

Finally, we asked Khaled about whether he achieved all his dreams or not. I think we all can predict the answer. It is “No”. Khaled dreams of teaching at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and to teach abroad too.

Khaled has a couple of advice for all of us. Khaled urges us all to be responsible and do it all alone. Stop waiting for anyone and just start. Khaled also suggests that it is okay to consult Career Coaches if you are ever confused. In addition, Khaled stresses that we should stop comparing ourselves with other because you will never know what they are going through, and may be you would be much more better that those who you compare yourself with. Finally, you have to learn time management because it is really crucial and always remember that you rise by lifting others. Help other people and you will see how God will pay you back that. Lastly, Step away from those fake “social media influencers”, just focus on yourself.
