The projects try to tackle different topics like the impact of new technologies and social media on our lives, success stories of those who follow their passion, how maintaining slow living life is important nowadays for us, the importance of sport tourism for Egypt and the dilemma between innocence and evil.  

The projects are executed in different forms ranging from short movies (Detached, Relation-Chip, Saligia), documentaries (Aroum, Meraki) ads to social media campaigns (Egyventure). 

Detached is a short film under the slogan of “nothing should own you”. The film is originally a graduation project by students of the Media department, College of Language and Communication, at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Alexandria.

The movie’s goal is to raise awareness about the malicious use of future technology and the bad impact it casts on individuals and their dreams.

Tormented by his past, Selim- an artist - chases his passion by presenting his paintings to the world and finding alternative ways to accomplish his dream. But will he be able to achieve success yet disconnecting from reality? 

This short film was produced by college students and their names are ( Amr taha, dina tarek, haidy mamdouh, kareem elhawary, ganna Abostait, ganna elsafi, mohammed el seidy, nourai wael, nadeen tarek, nourhan ibrahim, omar khaled, rola khaled, salma wael, sara anton, yasmin ibrahim, zeyad tolba.

Egyventure, a social media campaign has launched under the slogan "Its time to Venture". This campaign is originally a graduation project from students of the Media department, of the College of Language and Communication, at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, college, in Alexandria. 

Egyventure's goal is to activate Sports Tourism in Egypt and show how Egypt is a perfect destination for sports travel and especially for adventure and challenge lovers

Our campaign depicts journeys we go on to a variety of touristic places within Egypt, along with shedding light upon sports and adventures that you may participate in, not to mention the joy in seeing the beach while trying out windsurfing and diving, the sand while car-buggying, and the nile while kayaking.

This campaign was carried out by college students: Alaa Helmy, Rowan Magdy, May Samy, Nouran Hamada, Salma Hamdy, Nada Mehelba, Yasmine Tarek, Passant Yehia, Pance Mohamed, Demyana ElGamal, Ola Khaled, Habiba Amgad, Nour Fekry, and Summer Tarek.

Relation-Chip” is a short movie that portrays the story of a TV presenter who recently lost her husband but technology has its ways to bring him back to life. 

The world is evolving and moving fast holding with it innovations and technologies that change the world continuously. 

Although technology is one of the main reasons the world is in constant change, it’s considered a double-edged weapon. 

Our main goal is trying to enlighten people’s minds and raise their awareness that any technological development is not necessarily a useful one. Another important thing that the movie shed the light on, is that people should think twice before making any decision, as it might change their life forever. 

In this short movie, 14 students at the college of language and communication have worked hard to present such a marvelous work

Arom” is a documentary done as a part of the graduation project of media department, College of Language and Communication at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria.

The film sheds light on the slow living lifestyle by sharing the experience of an Egyptian couple who decided to leave the fast corporate life in Cairo and moved to Nuweibaa desert to lead a slower and more sustainable lifestyle and share their passion for farming and art.

Arom aims to share awareness of the need to be intentional in choosing your lifestyle, maintain clarity, and prioritize wellbeing.
