Dr. Amr Ramadan has been accepted as a fully-funded delegate in the global peace summit in Dubai that is organized by Global peace chain to represent Egypt among other 150 young leaders from +30 different countries.
Global Peace Chain envisions to build resilience, cultivate the culture of tolerance, inclusivity, interfaith harmony,co-existence,love and social peace building across the border through peace camps in educational institutions, interactive sessions, peace talks with society stakeholders, diplomats, ambassadors, influential community groups,UN officials, religious scholars and community based organization across the globe by empowering Global Peace Ambassadors.
Global Peace Summit Dubai 2022 is an initiative to impact the world with bringing world leaders together at one place. GPS Dubai aims to connect with youngsters, enhance their voice for social equity, and establish an amicable climate among networks and social orders.
Dr. Amr Ramadan is a progressive advocate from the working class with +7 years experience in the development sector. He went to public school and is the first in his family to attend college. He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Alexandria University, Egypt in 2018.
Moreover, he studied civic engagement at bard college, New York in 2016 within a framework of a six-week summer leadership program. He also attended other 9 short study visits about SDGs as a youth leader in different countries such as Italy, Germany, France, Denmark, Jordan, and Morocco. Currently, Amr is serving as the co-founder and CEO of a social enterprise called Empower Hub. He is responsible for managing small and medium Sustainable Development grants funded by national and international entities, as well as designing and facilitating training programs.
In 2020, Amr co-founded “women leaders Hub” to empower women with all their intersecting identities to become elected leaders as he succeeded in co-training 40 young leaders who reached over 800 participants that are now networking with each other via one Facebook group. In 2021, He has recently launched “climate leaders Hub” to empower youth from different backgrounds to be climate leaders in their institutions.
Besides, Amr provided 5 Tedx talks and 50+ mega-event talks about SDGs, so he reached +50K attendees. He is also a Youtuber who has +87K subscribers and +100K followers on Facebook.
