Ashraf Shoukri

He is graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and has a master degree in AI and progress in DBA in info management. He moved to work outside Egypt 32 years ago, but back toEgypt about ten months ago.

He worked in many Arab and foreign countries, started his carrier as a developer specialist in computer Arabization as one of a very few in this field. and most of his work started in technology at that time, and he was Arabizing the computer, meaning he made it Arabic , and he was one of the few people who did this work, Then he moved to banking and financial sector Technology as Head of IT, this Chief information officer, then a level of Vice Chairman. He was part of building team for 2 Islamic banks, and many Fintech companies.  then he went to work in the field of banking IT in banks and then began to promote until he became Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Bank, and was also a consultant to many banks and financial technology companies.

He has many studies and researches in using Blockchain and AI in Banking. And In year 2000, he built his first Robot with many advanced functionality at that time including reading, moving, face recognition and others. He is also did many projects to teach kids how to use technology and build robots and mobile apps.

He also made many studies in artificial intelligence, and in the year 2000 he built and manufactured the first robot that could ever read an entire book, and he has many researches in the blockchain, teaching children modern technology, dealing with technology and building technology more than dealing with it.

He also received many awards in technology from many countries such as Bahrain,  Dubai, and other countries. He also has many initiatives to teach children robots, and now building robots is very easy, unlike building it when he did his work and building it for the first time in 2000, and it was one of the most difficult things in the past.

He also won award as a top CIO (Chef Information Officer) in the Middle East twice, and was a key speaker in most of Technology and Financial technology confrontes

He was also a lecturer in many lectures over the course of almost 9 years in all conferences related to technology, and he was a principal lecturer in them.

He also established many banks in the Emirates, Albania and others.

He founded many financial technology companies and other things, and he is currently an assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors (Putin Group).

He has gone through a lot of difficulties since he was at the university and was working in the field of computer localization, and this is something that was not studied at the university, and for this he was struggling to come up with the right information, and this was at the end of the eighties and the beginning of the nineties.

Among the difficulties is that he was an engineer and works in the banking field, and he must understand the system and work with the financial system, which is below his specialty, but he was able to deal with it.

Among the difficulties, he was the head of operations in a bank, and he was originally an engineer, not a banker, and many other things. Of course, each stage has different difficulties and challenges.

Since his return to Egypt, he has created groups in which he teaches young people online for free. He gives many lectures and tries to make groups to teach children as well.

He also has an initiative in the Zamalek Club to teach children artificial intelligence and computer programming.

His dream is to spread the topic all over Egypt to teach children from a young age because they are the basic seed and the beginning is always with them because at a young age they absorb more and easily.
