The Super Doctor with Science, Passion and Mercy in 57357

Today, we are talking about Dr. Karim Nasser, 28 years old, graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mansoura University in 2017, and joined to work at the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 after his graduation, where he works in the one - day treatment unit in the hospital.

Over the five years, Karim Nasser was able to prove himself in hard work as well as caring for children, not only therapeutic, but he was able to exploit his passion for photography and directing to help children and relieve them during the treatment journey and give them positive energy and optimism that the future is better. 

Dr. Karim provided the psychological support for the children who stay for long hours while receiving chemotherapy, in a distinctive way by highlighting their talents such as singing and acting by filming some videos for them. In addition to using songs that give strength and hope in the hearts of children in these videos and posting them on social media platforms

such as Facebook, Tik Tok which positively affected the psychological state for children. 

Karim helped the children like their shapes and not bother to change their shapes during the treatment period, on the contrary, they are always wonderful at all times and they see themselves like the rest of the normal children and that they also can sing, act or practice any other activities and share it on their accounts on the platforms social media.

Dr. Karim's videos with children got a lot of interaction and admiration from the users of social media platforms. The first video were viewed more than 20,000 views, and the number of followers on Facebook and Tik Tok was more than 1,500 followers.

Karim's passion for photography and directing, it started in the university as he liked participating in the university activities related to this field and he was the head of the Scientific Research Committee in the team of Clinical Pharmacy at Mansoura University, as he was filming and editing some videos to simplify scientific knowledge to communicate information in a distinctive way. In addition, he studied some courses in the fields of directing and montage to develop his skills and gain more experience.

On the World Pharmacist Day, Dr. Sherif Abu Elnaga, President of Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357, honored Dr. Karim Nasser to recognite him for his dedicated work and his keenness, to improve the psychological state of children and make them so happy.
