she is Eng. Sally Ali, a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Department of Clothing Technology and Fashion, BA in Fashion Design, cum laude with honors.
She has done scientific research in which she devised advanced ideas for smart clothes and implemented them from the ground up, and used her research as a basis to design her smart piece that is inspired by the peacock, thus taking care of the aesthetic aspect of her designs as well. Her research aims to use smart fashion to preserve the lives of adolescents (boys and girls) from any risks, and quickly reach the patient (whatever his condition and age group) when seeking medical help from anywhere.
She used PCBs, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT), in her smart piece. The main function of her piece of clothing is to check on the location of adolescents and the possibility of communicating through it even if their mobile phone is lost, due to the piece’s connection with the GPS tracking system, and the application for the piece of clothing is activated on mobile at home, so the piece can send a message with the child’s location on the mobile device in the house and thus the possibility of locating and accessing the child increases. Her project took a year to research, think, design, and implement the final product, but she persisted in this idea hoping to solve an existing problem in society also because she is always looking for what is new and different to present to the world.
Sally, also known as "Voice of Ambition", is an ambitious singer, voice actress, and professional dubbing artist who chose her voice as the melody of her life. She has been practicing dubbing and vocal performance in all its colors since she was eighteen years old and loves everything related to sound. She is fluent in classical Arabic, colloquial, and English. She performed many clips, either voluntary or during dubbing training courses, and finally led the official promo of Nietzsche's book Beyond Good and Evil, which was shown at the Cairo International Book Fair 2022. Discovered her talent for singing and voice acting since early childhood, as melodies bind with her head easier than anything else. Her beginning was singing animation songs in her room, then she sang in the Egyptian Opera House since she was a child, starting with the children's choir and even practicing operatic singing, in all colors she proved the excellence of her voice and her love for melodies. Additionally, she has ideas for writing original song lyrics and is always keen to show her personality in them; She wants to appear in a meaningful and different musical color.
The journey of searching for the appropriate opportunity for her voice to appear in the light continues, as she intends to prepare and present an online radio program with an innovative idea and completely different from the programs that are prevalent and known to the listeners, she really hopes to reap a large number of listeners then and promises you that it will be an interesting program.
When we asked about her intentions for the future, she said "I dream of becoming an internationally famous stage costume designer and professor and becoming the first designer to combine smart fashion skills with stage costume design requirements to produce advanced costumes for an enthralling theater artwork in which, hopefully, my voice can be a part of”.
